i have read so many wonderful books in my life, so many that have touched me deeply, but nothing has ever touched me so deeply and thoroughly than this book. i cant express fully how much this meant and still means and will forever mean to me.

2 special intelligent advanced women talk about their lifes, thoughts and relationship. One survived WW2 in Berlin and became an important person in education and denazification. the other is the worlds most famous author for children books. It's cool to get to know the situations in which astrid writes her stories. Also the 2 have a very special relationship which questions the meaning of love and friendship.
