I am 9 and I thought this book was really useful in helping me understand what Prefixes and Suffixes mean. It was hard to understand what Prefixes and Suffixes are but this book showed me in an easy way what those words mean with cool pictures. Each person or animal has a Prefix or Suffix and on the next page after that is a sentence with a picture and the Prefix or the Suffix is at the beginning or the end of one of the words in the sentence.
My favorite one is the character Chester because it has both, the Prefix and the Suffix. The first letter of that word starts with a P just like the word Prefix so it helped me remember that Prefix goes first. So the Suffix means the other part of the word that was at the end. The book made everything way easier to understand and its so0o0o0o0 much fun to actually really get stuff like this. Oh yeah and I was super lucky and saw the books blog which is cool because it has interesting stuff to read about, like on magnets ”So Attached” and snow ”Let it snow”. (=^.^=) ~
I think this is a super helpful book mostly specially for anyone who doesn’t know what Prefix and Suffix means because this is going to be awesome for you. I also learned about lots of different stuff through Aniimal Town and they really did fix those problems I was having which is so0o0o0o0oo AWESOME!! (=^.^=)~
