Business Analyst to Business Advisor in an AI world

An excellent and informative book. The book is easy to read but contains some terms that need to be looked up. This is a good thing as it shows that there is much to learn from the experts.

The book contains plenty of AI platforms and tools available. I agree with the message that AI is here. Whatever you think about it, it is here, and we need to learn to use it to build up our literacy with it. AI is a tool for how it is used it either a blessing or a curse.

The book also has a covers a step by step journey from a Business Analyst to becoming a Business Advisor using the current tool (many of which are AI), and techniques avaliable, but also the change in mindsets as well.

Then, in the Appendix, it is the question and answers from the 2023 AI conference. I do like that answers from the other panellists are given to questions to show different perspectives. Then case studies and examples of AI generated reports.

There is so much great information in this book. Different perspectives and links and further readings on the topics suggested. A great book of knowledge. This is the best time to read this book as a starting point in AI because at the speed of AI moves, it is easy to get left behind.
