I live in Scotland. I enjoy the scenery and the birds. Leo's book brings the two together through his words, his drawings, and his paintings in a such a way that makes this book itself a work of art. His power of observation, skill in rendering what he sees onto paper or canvas, and his enthusiasm about it all made me appreciate his incredible talent, the beautiful flora and fauna of Scotland, and it also inspired me to go out and observe, enjoy and perhaps draw and paint it for myself.
