Contact Code is a hilariously enigmatic journey back to the 1970s where Stephen Tidmarsh James, on the eve of his 33rd birthday, impulsively quits his mundane job at a chemical plant to embark on a year-long adventure around the world. Encouraged by his late mother’s legacy from her safety deposit box, which includes ample funds for the voyage. Stephen’s escapade takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a long-buried family secret. Little does he know that he’s not the only one eager to unearth this clandestine treasure. As Stephen unravels the mystery, he encounters a colorful cast of characters, each with their own quirks and agendas. There is Sarah Rosebud Cooper. A masterful parfumeur with a nose for intrigue, the enigmatic Uncle March and his vivacious young wife, Angel Smith-James, the sharp-witted family lawyer, Madeline Munroe, and the charismatic Las Vegas gangster, Sammy Tomorrow.
Very intriguing storyline. I loved how parts of the story were slowly revealed bit by bit. Contact Code is a great read that had me hooked and also made me laugh out loud at times.
