Oh why, oh why did the condom break?

Now McCabe is stuck explaining to an unamused Spooky how an alien virus has introduced her to the world of shifters. But everything should be fine so long as she avoids her lovelorn boss and takes her new situation and the shifter support group seriously. I loved the name of the heroine in this story; Spooky Love is so unique and catches the eye. With a name like that she fits right in with her shifter support group. I loved the whole story line and the unusual shifter abilities of the characters is so outrageously funny I laughed out loud. Stephanie Burke is an amazing writer with the talent to take her characters through a sharp turn into what the heck town. I highly recommend the writing of Stephanie Burke and How Not to Date a Human.

I enjoyed this book. It was a fun story to read. The extra limbs thing didn't exactly turn ME on but the erotic scenes were titillating and the story was interesting and funny in most places. As always I appreciate an HEA and this delivers. They're both human they just contracted a virus here on earth from space. I recommend this book for a quick, funny predicament, and erotic romp.

This was quirky and funny. Not my fav in the 'How Not to...' series but written very well. I could honestly imagine this series as a short web series since Burke's writing bodes off well that way.
