Absolutely riveting. I had never heard of the Bermuda Sky Queen or Sovereign of the Skies rescues, and now I’ll never forget them.

Walling captures the terror, the bravery, and the sheer miracle of two successful ditchings. I read the whole book in one sitting.

Very detailed and well-researched. A bit technical in places, but the survivor accounts kept me glued.

The voices of the passengers and crew make this read like a thriller. You can feel the tension of every moment in the air and sea.

A fascinating slice of history. I wish it had included more photos, but the storytelling was excellent.

Edge-of-your-seat reading! I felt like I was on the plane, bracing for impact, and then in the water waiting for rescue.

Well done and very readable. At times I wanted even more detail about the planes themselves, but the people’s stories were the heart of it.

This book proves truth is stranger and scarier than fiction. What those passengers endured is beyond imagination.
