I've been a fan of Russ Malkin ever since I first saw Long Way Round. I didn't know what to expect from his first book, because I'd only seen TV programs which he directed and was in. I loved his adventures and it made me add several things to my own bucket list. Unlike a lot of books about travel, this one was compiled of his personal adventures all over the world. Wow, what a different world we live in now huh? A book chock full of adventures to be had around the world... and a world that is now very difficult to travel in! That said, it was a pleasure to travel vicariously through Russ, who is not afraid to take a great leap into the unknown.
