Even though I teach Latin, I like Math and enjoy reading books about it as a mental exercise and a way of training and exercising the brain. I was inspired to read this when a friend of my son ( a Math Major) took a class on the subject. It is a fascinating branch of mathematics, with interesting applications, even though I am far from understanding all the details.
