They can't be as good as Aral and Cordelia.
Nobody is as compelling as Aral and Cordelia! But if I have to give a ribbon after the blue ribbon is taken, I am loving Whelan's series, and I'm grateful to Lois for recommending. Ditto the Rivers of London series.
I've heard of this series several times -- at least one of them here -- so I finally caved and just downloaded the first. Off to read now... Thanks! Me, too, re Rivers of London, which was recommended by three of my favorite authors. :)
Thanks for telling me about these characters. I am loving this series! Keep telling us about favorite reads Lois, because I also discovered the Rivers of London series through you and I'm telling everyone about it.
I don't think I have a favourite fictional couple. Might have been Anthony Villiers and Louisa Parini, perhaps; but Panshin stopped writing about them before they became a couple. I like Miles and Ekaterin as a couple. I liked Albert Campion and Amanda Fitton when they first met, but the later progression of that relationship was relatively disappointing.
