The fact that it is compared to Gone Girl means I will not read it. Hated Gone Girl. Tired of novels with characters with no redeeming values.
I agree with you, Mingamore. But being an eternal optimist I think I'll give "The girl on the train" a try. I'm just not going to read anything else by Gillian Flynn.
I agree with both of you Mingamore and Pat C. I absolutely hated the tone of Gone Girl altogether so no more Ms. Flynn for me; we just don't fit. However I love to read so much that I am willing to give anything one try. If I can survive Wally Lamb, I will live to read another day!
