You know there is a feature that hides spoilers on this website. The mods can do that and people wo read the reviews can flag it if need be.

Sometimes the eternally good girl gets weary of doing the right thing for everyone else and decides to take something for herself. More power to Rachel!

i agree there is nothing that would make her deserve to steal her best friend's fiance. that is not taking something for herself. its betrayal.

1263193 i totally agree with your review! I usually can find some redeeming qualities in chick-lit books, but this one just made me angry. And not because of the morality issue, but because every character in the book is so stereotypical and predictable. How has this series become so popular?

Could not have said it better myself. When I started reading the book, Rachel seemed like a character I could sympathize with, but I started to dislike her very early on instead. Like you, I kept wondering, "If Darcy is such a horrible friend, why does she stay friends with her? Better to dump her than to stab her in the back and pretend to be her best friend still."

Echo was right. I kinda liked the concept of the book, but the whole time I hated Rachel. She is to weak! How could someone so smart be so stupid. Dex was just as bad, too afraid to tell Darcy how he felt. Hillary was the bomb and is probably the only reason I kept reading past those dumb group trips. Anyway, Rachel needed to get with Ethan, cause she needs someone who will keep her straight, but I get the feeling he also feels sorry for her. Ok book poor Rachel.
