Kristy It's kind of taking me a while to get through this. It's got a lot of things about it that strike me as contrived... but it's a story about time-travel, so I guess you have to contrive a few things.

Kathleen aw hells no! i know that you did not just bash THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE!!! i listened to it on cd as i drove to boise at the beginning of the summer and i believe that listening to a book on cd is a different experience than reading. how far along are you.

Kristy I'm about in the middle, right after they have dinner with Henry's dad.

I just feel like I'm getting marketed to! It feels like market research wrote this book. And you know how crabby and critical I get sometimes.

Erin you nailed it. the second half is a completely different book, and while it might not redeem the novel completely, it does redeem the story.

Joy "Choose Your Own Adventure" ROTFLOL! That's so great. I wish I'd thought of that in my review. You are so right.
