Katie YES. I don't think I've ever read something that has so much love for the old AND the new, books AND technology. I loved it.

Dan O'Brien Hurrah! You've pretty much said everything I wanted to about this book! Wasn't it awesome?

message 6: by Ami (new)

Ami Yes, Dan. It is. And thanks for your kind comment :-)

Stephanie Agreed. Other criticisms of the book may be true to an extent, but I keep going back to the fact that it was a joy to read and just kept me enthralled. And I'm constantly repeating in my reviews that that's why I read - entertainment. Like you I did catch myself thinking throughout the book that it will sound very dated very quickly.

Elizabeth Sulzby I read all the negative reviews first and was set to heartily dislike this one but it gripped me all the way through.
