Aaron Thank you Hollie.

You have managed to write the review I was not able to. I think your review should be added to every copy of Ender's Game.

If you are reading this and you haven't read Ender's Game then I encourage you to heed Hollie's review.

Extremo_delirio I totally agree with Aaron.
Thank you Hollie :)

Michaela Agreed! :)

This review is way better than the ones on my book lol...

message 4: by Irene (new)

Irene Amazing review
As easy a read as you may say, unfortunately it wasn't easy enough for some people.
One thing I SLIGHTLY disagree on is what the book is about: I think the book is about different human qualities, and how people may act in different situations.

message 5: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca Carlsen A great review! Yes, exactly this!

message 6: by Shaleece (new)

Shaleece Thank you for the review, it was everything I wanted to say about the book but couldn't find the words for.

message 7: by Ross (new)

Ross Yeaaa!

message 8: by Ripple (new)

Ripple Finally someone, who truly understands this book! I had enough enough of people, who found stupid excuses to downrate this book just because they didn't have the brains to understand it.

Kelly Martin This review is a perfect description of Ender's Game. It bums me out to see so many reviews from people who just don't get it--they get angry because the children in the book think like children, or they might get frustrated because these children think differently than the children of today. God forbid that children being raised to fight a war don't just want to run off and play with rubber duckies!

message 15: by Gabriella (new)

Gabriella Thank you for writing this review. I loved this book when I first read it in high school and it intrigued me as no other book has. I have sifted through the other reviews for this book and was disappointed by what I read. There are so many people who are saying so many bad things about this book and the more I read what they had to say the more obvious it became. These people had no idea what they had read or what it represented. While reading their posts I felt like they were ants in a desert when they read this book. Orson Scott Card was the rain, bringing life to a parched land and like fools they curse the rain as a flood, unable to mark it for the blessing that it is. Again thank you for that review, for the 99 fools that scream their existence to the universe there is the one who listens.

message 16: by Gretchen (new)

Gretchen I picked this up to read before the movie release. Loved it!

message 17: by James (new)

James Arellano-Cortez Great review

message 18: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine I've found that every review helps complete the Ender's Game story. We all contribute to the story.

message 19: by Coolkid (new)

Coolkid well written review

message 20: by Jnewman119 (new)

Jnewman119 Awesome review! I was about to do one myself, but read this and decided this says it better then I ever could.

message 21: by Casey (new)

Casey Awesome review! complete agree!

message 22: by Dharin (new)

Dharin Haven't read everybody's review of this book but this will probably be the best.
Totally explains it all.

message 23: by Ebony (new)

Ebony Lopes Yeah, I read this when I was 11 and really enjoyed it. Still a great read and tackles issues of war and how they should be adressed... especially as even today there are many 'children' forced to be involved in war...

message 24: by Artemis (new)

Artemis Thank you for doing such a great review. I'm so tired of these illogical reviews finding stupid excuses to say aweful things about this amazing book just because of Cards views on life.

message 25: by Joni (new)

Joni Willis-varble I disagree on this being a children's book. I don't want my children reading books about anything evil.

message 26: by Isabelle (new)

Isabelle This book is more of a young adult SciFi. Anyway, its amazing, and I have o agree with your rating. but, thy butchered the story with the movie...

message 27: by Charllee Dodson (new)

Charllee Dodson I read this book for the first time when I was 11. I have read the book about 4-5 times since then. I also watched the movie (they butchered the story). I have to totally agree with you!!! Your review does way more justice than just about any other I have read or could write myself!!! Finally!!!! Someone who understands!!!!!

Dominic Mancini espion of the palace I just wish people would stop having a bad taste about books like this one they are so addictive and awesome !!!!!

- Elian a Unkown :)

message 29: by Whisperwind (new)

Whisperwind My mom said that the movie for her favorite book is coming out. I said I wanted to watch it. Mom said, first, you need to read it. I was on a time limit. I loved it. Read it 3 times afterwards.

message 30: by Hayley303 (new)

Hayley303 Well said, took the words right out of my mouth.

Elias Quincy Kradel (Yes, I am related to John Quincy Adams.) Ender's Game is SO GOOD! I just can't get enough of it!

message 32: by Maja (new)

Maja I have just started reading this book, in school I will be covering it in English class. Is this the kind of book that would be very indepth and will I probably end up hating to read this book since I have to analyse practicaly everything in it. I

message 33: by Maja (new)

Maja This book review is defenitaly awsome and is the best I have read (I. Have read like 20 reviews online) I hope that this book will be as good as you are saying.

message 34: by Sam (new)

message 35: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Sweeney Brilliant review !
Thank you

message 36: by Elisha (new)

Elisha This is the best review of Ender's Game ever. It speaks directly to most of the misconceptions on this book.

Ender's Game is written so simply, yet the story is not easy to understand. Absolutely all the negative reviews about this book makes me squirm because they all show that they don't really understand this story at all. But I've also noticed that everyone who truly understands this book can't help but love Ender and his story as well.

message 37: by (^_^) (new)

(^_^) I'm just saying, that was a l o n g review…

message 38: by Bookwormnerd22 (new)

Bookwormnerd22 The book was okay but I find it hard to rate a moderately good book with a sexist and homophobic author. Good review!

message 39: by Emily (new)

Emily I really enjoyed your review! I loved this book as well and how it was about more than an alien war fought by children—I loved how it was more about the mind, about leadership and about being different than everyone else. I loved that this book was more about a concept than a war.

message 40: by Cody (new)

Cody McMurrin I feel you on this statement because I as a young person understand this statement completely because people that are older than you will always feel as if they are superior to you no matter your physical traits. I also feel like this book is a major example on how the underdog or weakling or "mouse" is able to overcome adversity.
