Not that you will get notified about this comment but I felt the need to let you know it is definitly not DID. There is no sound evidence for this theory the black outs would most likely be how he copes with his anxiety and PTSD. If you would like to see someone (character on a show) who has DID bates motel the show, Norman is a great example of this. You could also watch documaentaries on it as well read the DSM-5 diagnoses for DID and dissociative disorders, because he might have dissociate symptoms but not meet the criteria.
