I agree with Lisa and the above comments - confusing and hard to follow the story.
Agree wholeheartedly. The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns were books that haunted me for quite a while after I'd finished them. Apart from the opening chapter or so there was very little about this book that "felt" like the earlier two books.
