Yes! I liked the 2008 mini series so much better! In my opinion the actors suited the roles more.

"..all the guys are ugly..." Really?? You think Hugh Grant and Greg Wise are ugly? And, Alan Rickman, although not conventionally handsome is, IMHO, a striking looking man! I thought this was a brilliant film and very true to the Austen book. Ans all the male actors were fab ;)
I did enjoy how true it was to S&S. :) Okay, Greg Wise is Willoughby? I'm terrible with most actor names. Rickman is rather striking looking, yes, but not necessarily handsome. Hugh Grant...I'm sorry. But I can't stand him. :( And Wise, provided he IS Willoughby, in the scene where he rescues Marianne, he looks about to sneeze through the whole thing.
But then, to each their own. :)
