Not very informative. Doesn't talk at all about microaggressions in the workplace or any specific workplace problem. Each chapter just gives you generic "Think like a leader!" advice which isn't what I was looking for. There's no advice on specific workplace problems or their solutions.

Timeless. Practical. Relevant. Unfortunately neccesary...our society has made it such. We need to do better so that regardless of who we are, and rather because of who we are, we can be successful.

I thought there was a lot of credence to this book. So much so that I purchased a hard copy (I was listening to an audiobook). it is a great read for black women who are looking to move up in their organizations. I will definitely be creating a PLN to make sure I start documenting my goals and my successes so I can start keeping track for myself and resume updates as well as to be able to have raise and promotion conversations with my upper management.
