Easy to read book. It's not much of a story just introduces the characters from the movie Cars. I did like that this Disney Beginning Reader book was an easy to read Level 1 book. I've found that many of the Disney beginner books are more difficult than the level they claim to be. I would recommend this book to kids who are starting to read and enjoy the movie, Cars.

Super simple text since it’s meant for new readers, and no plot. I added my own flair to the story to make it less bland. He loves Cars so he loves any book related to the movie

While I hate Disney, this is a good one to get the girls trying-out some tougher words.

Synopsis: "Lightning McQueen, Mater, Sally, and the rest of the gang from Disney/Pixar's Cars are back! This super-simple Step 1 reader is perfect for little boys who love cars, trucks, trains, planes, and everything that goes."

My Review: This is a great level one reader. The familiar Cars characters keeps fans involved in the book. It is not really a story but an introduction to the characters and the types of vehicles. A lot of familiar words and an introduction to some new ones.

In this book everybody in Radiator Springs was on the go. McQueen was driving and he was going in some spiky plants, but Mater is a tow truck. He got McQueen. I liked this book because there's cars. -by Alexander

My six year old son loved it. This book was easy to read and featured his favorite characters, Lightening McQueen and Mater. Great piece of literature, no but a good book for young readers especially boys.

Very cute! Though it is not a book that is a level one ready to reader. I would put it at a level 3 at the the very least.

This book dispenses with even the tiny bit of plot offered in Toy Story 3's Toy to Toy. It is really, really boring if you've never seen the Cars movie. And I haven't. Because I'm 9 months old.

If you have a child that loves vehicles or loves the movie CARS they will enjoy this book! Each page talks about each vehicle in Radiator Springs and what they 'do'. Very simple but not basic story.
