Once again Chip must deal with someone on his team who doesn’t want to play “team ball” but would rather play “solo ball.” There’s a lot more Christian aspects in this book. Chip prays a lot more, there’s more talk about church and even a mention of what the sermon was about. I love this aspect of the book. And of course I love Chip and his friends. Soapy and Biggie are in this one more than Red, Speed, and the others, but don’t worry, they are all there. Lots of baseball games and some great lessons. Recommended for any sports lover and even just sports readers.
