I read all of these growing up. Fun mystery books for kids especially girls

There was a scene towards the end where Mary-Kake needed to hurry to the competition, and Ashley was taken instead of her. How was that possible if Ashley wasn't about to participate and wasn't part of the club? Why would she wear riding clothes then? Maybe I imagined her wrong in the whole book. 😅
Except for this little detail i couldn't understand, the book was really fun to read. 💛

If I was younger, I would have rated this book 3-4 stars. But now, as a teenager, I rate it 2 and 1/2.
