Author Greg Brown and his wife leave their fast- paced life in the U.S. and immigrate to Canada. where they buy and renovate a home on McNutt's Island off the coast of Nova Scotia. They long for a siimpler life. There they share their life with semi-wild sheep, deer; make friends with the local people, merchants and lobstermen. This was ok...certainly made me interested in exploring McNutt's Island and the Shelburne area. Inspiring.....makes one want to live on an isolated island...almost!! He captures the simplicity of life that I think we all yearn for....even if we can't admit it.
