The 3rd edition of this acclaimed book retains all the key elements of its undoubted success in providing students with the complete picture of human anatomy. Features new to the 3rd edition new imaging material and selected arthroscopic and endoscopic views showing normal anatomic appearances; over 100 dissections are now accompanied by full colour line drawings; 80 new clinical images showing the relevant anatomy in MRI and CT scans as well as ultrasound and film radiology; and new full colour overlays showing muscle attachments and surface anatomy.
Great. I'm-a tells you: the anatomy student (like me, currently) cannot have too many visual references. If mastery is your goal, a diversity of perspectives should be your stuff. The (roughly) 10" x 12" page format and the vivid photography make this one totally worthwhile, should you come across it in a used book shop (big ups to The Armadillo's Pillow). The labelling is decent, but viewing a bajillion photos and diagrams from different sources will dispel any confusion, so hop on the knowledge train. Peace out.
