The first pages that author Rosa Maria Malet wrote about Miro's life are small (font is tiny) and academic, but I got the jist of his life.

I concentrated on the visual art and was intrigued by the various "mediums" that Miro used (as indicated underneath each painting). He painted oil on cardboard, or wrinkled kraft paper, or wood. He created a ceramic mural for Harvard University. He mixed words and art in his pieces. Very, very interesting. I want to explore the work of Miro even more, especially his techniques and his variety of styles he used in his creativity.

This was a gift from a friend. Miro is not a big favorite of mine.
