When Temp and the other demons from the Anything Goes Club go to rescue the captives from the Halfers, evil minions of hell, he discovers a small, gorgeous man that instantly captivates him. When he lifts the smaller man in his arms, everything feels... perfect, and Temp will do anything to protect Reid.

But Reid is a survivor, barely hanging on after being horribly abused

I think I'll stab myself first before I'll read another book by Joyee Flynn. (And Lynn Hagen too.)

There isn't really much to say other than boring and bland characters. Stupid plot. Ridiculous descriptions of the dancing. (And really, at least get the instruments right! The opening of "Secrets" by OneRepublic features a cello, not a violin.) Dialogue was stiff and awkward and cringe-worthy. The action scene at the beginning was confusing and weird. I couldn't follow what they were doing. (Perhap

The WORST book I've read so far this year.

Short version (besides the horrifically bad copyediting): In one of the first scenes, the demon dude is fingering the vamp dude in the ass (without lube, of course). The vamp dude tells him that he's a virgin, but not really a virgin because he was raped the day before. ALL WHILE DEMON DUDES FINGER IS IN HIS ASS. Then Demon dude decides that he's going to get some lube for Vamp dude because, if it's really his first time he can make it a little good for

As much fun as the first book, this one deals with yet another lust demon, Temp, and his unexpected mate, Reid, who is a vampire.

Reid is adorable. He's been through hell and back, and his talent of dancing gets him into more trouble than he can imagine, but he perseveres. He does have this tendency to want to leave Temp when he feels he's too much trouble for his mate, but thankfully Temp will have none of that.

Temp is a big, protective lust demon who doesn't see himself mated - until it happens

"Lust & Vamp" is the second book in the Anything Goes series and has quickly become one of my favorite reads! The world that Ms. Flynn has created in the Anything Goes series is both imaginative and entertaining. I liked how she differentiated between born demons and made demons, the Halfers, both of which are completely different. I really loved reading about the love that so quickly springs up between Temp and Reid, and the fact that it was not an easy love for either of them. I thought th ...more

I have to say that I am really like this series, lots and lots. Demons are not normally the good guys and yet we have Lust Demons who are good guys.

We start off in the warehouse rescuing the hostages from Lust & Fae. Temp comes across a hostage that he feels the urge to protect. Before they get back to the club he is mated to the vampire Reid. Reid is fierce and adorable at the same time. They both have issues to work through and a little work on their communication. The question becomes is

Same problems as first so I won't repeat. However I would like to comment on how fucking amazing it is that they how gorgeous people on the cover. Why can't the books I actually like have those guys on the covers? What is this injustice?

Oh and the whole foursome scene was pretty disgusting.

I am always amazed by the capability of the soul to endure seemingly impossible trials and still be able to let love in. Lust and Vamp, the second of Joyee Flynn's Anything Goes series, deals with the healing that takes place between tragedy and happily ever after.

Temp and Reid face many challenges that threaten their existence together, but never compromises their love for each other. This unconditional love is one of my favorite themes in romance stories. The protagonists get together at the

Quite a few copy & paste bits of exposition. It’s awkward when this comes in the form of a different character’s first person narrative without changing anything.

And there’s that awful excuse once more for an abuse victim to engage in sex again right away. Blah. Not buying it. You don’t just replace bad memories with good. Things are not suddenly fine with that. Nope. And they’re not instantly fixed here too, but I still feel the sex was introduced way too soon.

More exhibitionism, this time

Having read quite a few of this authors books now I can honestly say that this series probably represents the best of her work IMO. It's written in first person (from the POV of the Lust demon), and while this isn't my favourite reading choice it's handled pretty well. The characters won't appeal to everyone (there is a definite caveman/weaker bottom boy feel to the relationship dynamics and insta love R us), but I can't say I didn't enjoy the interactions between the characters and the overall ...more

typical joyee flynn serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical joyee flynn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).

out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by :

I thought in the first one they said that lust demons can't feed from their mates. Did that change, because Temp fed off of Reid.

Also, Secrets by OneRepublic opening strings is a cello not a violin. That irked me to no end and not only did I have to read it once, but TWICE!

I did like Temp and Reid though. I liked how protective Temp was of Reid, even before the mating.

I will be continuing on with this series. I want Mick and Beck :)

I enjoyed this one as much as the first. In my opinon the main characters in this stories where a bit more relatable in this story. I the playful banter between the lust demons. Overall it was a good story.

The book starts really interesting, with a vampire unintentionally mating with a lust Demon, but unfortunately it becomes really boring when it turns into description of mundane relationship issues. All in all the story seriously lacks artistic unity

I tried to give it a go... since I was pretty brutal on my review for the first book of this series.... If your into an unbelievable sugar overload, then this is the book for you... The MCs from book one and two sound the same, it was vomit central
