Great exposition of simple regression models. Perspective on multiple regression was a bit lacking -- the first part of Mostly Harmless Econometrics does a more in depth job here. The back of the book is filled with a lot of applied stuff which is a handy reference but which is mostly skippable. The first 100 pages or so are the core of it.

A good book with very valuable information. I am glad I spent numerous hours reading it however it could have used a joke or two.
