One of the most famous stories of the Bible; it builds faith in most people who read it. No one in the King of Israel's army wanted to fight the giant, Goliath' and it's no wonder. He was huge! But David had more faith than they all. He knew his Father in Heaven would fight his battles for him, and He did! David later became a great king to his people.

Big words and beautiful illustrations for beginning readers about David tending sheep and had killed a lion. His brothers go off to war and he takes them supplies. A giant challenges anybody to fight. All decline so David takes out his sling and 'Down Goes Giant!' The posse flees.
