Well that's a cute book. I do wish it was bilingual English/Spanish, especially since it's a folktale from New Mexico - but that might be a lot to ask for an elementary school book published in 1996.

A young boy shares a delightful little tale his father heard from his grandmother about an ant who needed help from the sun to dry up the puddle so she could go home. Sun needed Cloud to move, cloud needed wind to blow cloud away. Wind wanted to nap.

The photos combined with cute illustrations are charming.

A fun little book. An interesting combination of photos and cartoon type images showing a boy telling a story that he learned from his father.
