Archie Freshman Year Book 2

Rate this book
Archie and his friends have forever been stuck in the latter portion of high school, but after many long years, the story of how "the gang" all met up was finally told in the first volume of The High School Chronicles!
But that wasn't the whole story!

In this second volume, writer Batton Lash fills in the blanks, giving readers an even bigger glimpse of what you missed the first time around.

See what happens when Jughead and his family move, Betty & Veronica become internet celebrities (for better or for worse), and Reggie breaks out and finds himself a new group of "Pals 'N' Gals." Also, see Chuck's first real foray into the world of comics and find out whatever happened to Pencilneck G.

A collection of short comics taking place during the gang's freshman year at Riverdale high. Listed as "Missing Chapters", we meet a girl Jughead fell in love with, found out Ronnie and Betty made a video to try to win tickets to see the latest, greatest, boy band, Reggie dumping the gang for some upper classmen, ditto Archie, Chuck being haunted by something he did (or didn't do!) in the past, you know, typical Riverdale fare.

If you like this series, you'll enjoy this book!

The stories have the characters looking back at things that happened during their freshman year. The first story reveals what happened when Jughead's family moved out of town for a while and explains why they returned. The second story is about Betty and Veronica and how they went wild for a boy singing group. The third story is about Reggie and he how tried to hang out with students older than him. The next story is about how Chuck did his own comics when he was young and why he thinks someone is looking for revenge. The last story is about Pencilneck G. The stories are all good.

Public library copy.

In typical fashion my library does not carry the first volume of this Freshman series, but all the stories contained in this volume 2 book were self contained enough that readers can follow along easily without worry of continuity.
