This book was disappointing for me. I learned very little or almost nothing. The author gives incomplete technical information on how the photo was taken and described rather what we already see in the picture making the whole thing oblivious. I don’t find this book useful.

Interesting first book I read on portrait photography. Unfortunately since it was published in 2002 focus mainly on analog photography, thus rendering some of its teachings outdated. Still an interesting read.
