Xaria “Jötunn” Hummel had grown up on the ice. She was one of the most experienced ice trekkers and leaders of ice expeditions around. Aidrian “Hondo” O’Shea needed to learn the in’s and out’s of survival on the ice. He looked around and found the best one for the job. What he found was that the best “one” to teach him was anything but a man as he’d assumed. She had rich golden-caramel skin, intelligent eyes the color of green ice, and thick golden blonde hair.

Both of them are used to getting their own way and despite the instant attraction, neither is willing to budge. When they finally do get out on the ice, will it be cool enough to keep the heat between them in check? Xaria has strict rules about being on the ice. As for Aidrian, he’d always been a warrior and never quite fully believed in the power of love, until now. For even when his lessons are over, he has no intention of letting her go and will do whatever it takes to prove she is…

The drama was on in this book

The author had lots of drama and suspense in this book. Xaria and Aidrian had so many problems to solve in their relationship. They were people who lived on opposite sides of the world, but they could not get each other out of their minds. They fell so bad for each other that they both realized that they could not live their life without the other in it.I

Aliyah had me walking away from the book reading several situations. Anytime an author can make one's heart palpitate when reading their creation, it is the mark of a good storyteller. I've enjoyed reading about these ultra alpha men being brought to their knees by the love of a woman.

What's not to love

The storyline was beautiful and the description of the snow and settings epic. Been to Ireland several times, and whilst it is nice I never understood the sense of awe over it. Glad to see more of Maverick in this book. The book also set up Hindi and Harrier's siblings love story.

One of the best and most well written (not including the editing)of the series.

I read the whole series whilst on holiday in Jamaica.

I loved the series.

BUT: Spelling mistakes and some serious dodgy formatting of the text at times. This went through all of the books....

It was okay. This story seemed to have a laidback feel to it. I liked the sass of Xar and how she seemed to compliment Hondo. I still have issues with the editing, though.
