I've been planning nightly meals from this cookbook for the past two weeks, and so far, everything has been delicious. I'll definitely pick up a used copy for our kitchen library. One caveat: If you don't cook often, and in some cases, even if you do, the ingredient listings might be a bit overwhelming. I'd say about half of the recipes in the book require pretty basic items, but the rest will call for a trip to a health food market, global food store, etc., so depending on your schedule/skills, ...more

The pictures are appetizing and the book features unique and appealing recipes. There weren't any recipes that didn't sound good to me. The recipes were complex and unique enough that they were not things I would just improvise. Some day I would love to buy this book to add to my cookbook collection. For now I'll just borrow from the library when I'm looking to try some new vegetarian dishes. Haven't actually tried cooking anything out of this yet, but there are a lot of things that sound really, really good. Especially desserts, which is crazy because I'm not really big on desserts! But anyway, lots of nice pictures (I will pretty much only look at cookbooks if they have pretty pictures in them) and lots of interesting combinations. I'm definitely looking forward to attempting (and then devouring) some!

If this cookbook were a restaurant, I would want to eat there every day.

Interesting division of chapters. A balanced mix of familiar and not-so-familiar ingredients. Interesting food combinations.
