He runs The Ambachtsheer Letter and cofounded Cost Effective Measurement, Inc., which monitors the performance of 300 of the world's largest asset funds. D. Don Ezra (Toronto, Canada) is Director of European Consulting at Frank Russell Co. His previous books include The Struggle for Pension Fund Wealth.

A bit dated. Was probably quite educational, even revolutionary, when it was released but now (2017) seems very much like old news, especially to those who work in the pensions industry. Still a useful read for those who are new to the pensions industry though.

A lot of valuable information. even if the book needs to be refreshed, the principles are still true today. Skip all the (dated) VaR part and risk measurement, these old methods have been debunked.
