Recommends it for: Fans of sexy romantic suspense
Very enjoyable. Easy to read with a good pace, a likable H/h, some interesting supporting characters and some very erotic love scenes.

Nathan Fox is a former Marine/ Las Vegas vice cop. Nathan quit his cop job when a case went horribly wrong for him, leaving him shattered and despondent and causing a breakup with his fiancé. Now he works as head of security for a Las Vegas casino and also as a member of the Reliance Group. The Reliance Group, run by 36-year-old Onyx Casino operations manager Cal

Into the Night handles a very tough subject, an old wealthy man, luring young rebellious, troubled teenagers and pulling them in a life of alcohol, drugs, sex and even trafficking.

Nathan Fox is s former marine and former cop. He now works in security in a casino in Vegas and is also a member of the Reliance Group, run by his boss. The group takes on assignments that no-one else does and when Nathan is called for an assignment he is happy, it gives him an adrenaline rush but the case his boss tel
This book simply didn't work for me. I'm not sure what Ms. Denison tried to do with this mix of romance and suspense, but it doesn't bode well for the rest of the series (which, based on this book, I won't be reading).

It looked like she debated between romance and suspense throughout the entire story, focusing on one and then the next, instead of blending the two genres into what we lovingly call "romantic suspense".
They didn't work together, and they sure didn't work separately, because the rom

I think human trafficking must be the new “it” thing to feature in books. In the last three romantic suspense books I’ve read, human trafficking of women/young girls has been the central focus.

Two people meet at a night of speed dating, each there for their own reasons that have nothing to do with the dating part, but for Nathan, Fox and Nicole Hutton seems their equal disinterest in making a connection - is the thing that they connect over and immediately fall into bed.

Nathan works as head of

Into the Night is the first book by Janelle Denison that I've read and the first in a new series she started in April of this year called The Reliance group series. You get a introduction in this book to the members that make up The Reliance group and at the same time a peek at who might be in future books. Up first is Former Vice cop Nathan Fox.

It's been awhile since I've read a Janelle Denison book. This one wasn't too bad. Nathan and Nicole are instantly attracted to each other after meeting at a speed dating event. Both believe the instance will be one night only, until Nathan's case brings them back together again.

As with most Denison stories, the sex scenes are frequent and detailed. Not as risque as her Wilde series, though. For me, that's a bonus. The kidnapping case that the characters are working on plays out well throughout

Into the Night is Janelle Denison’s latest romantic suspense and the first book in her new series The Reliance Group (TRG). It’s been a while since I’ve read a Janelle Denison book, but I loved her Wilde Series so I was really looking forward to reading her latest release. I’m glad I did because Ms. Denison always delivers when it comes to the chemistry between the protagonists and she never fails to introduce me to characters that are driven, intelligent and have a heart. So when Nicole Hunter ...more

It's been so long since I read a book by Janelle Denison so when I saw she has a new book out I had to buy it- I didn't even read the blurb to know more about the story.

I loved both main characters, they had depth and the plot was very interesting- good mix of suspense and romance and of course the love scenes were super HOT.

However, this book deal with very sad issues and at some point it was very hard for me to read the descriptions- I know it's only a fiction story but this things happen in r

Have to say I loved this book and I think Janelle Denison may just be my new favourite Romance Author!

I stumbled upon Wilde One a while ago and have read as many as I can of that set of books, so when I saw this was a new series I thought I'd give it a go although reading the back I wasn't convinced I'd like the mystery element.

How wrong I was! The thing I like about her books is that the characters really like each other and arn't out to humiliate the other person. It is impossible for me not t

Part of what diminished my appreciation for this book was the fact that I read it immediately following When You Dare by Lori Foster, a book in the same genre that I found immensely superior. I did like a lot of things about this book, such as the interaction between Nathan and Nichole. Nathan was a wonderful leading man!! But there were a lot of elements that I found trite and juvenile, such as the "Reliance Group" and Gwen's caricature of a woman scorned. All said, I do plan to buy the next bo ...more

This was a fun and fast read. Nathan is a former Marine who is now working as a security specialist with The Reliance Group. He meets up with this reporter, Nicole Hutton, when they are both trying to find a supposed runaway girl. Anyway, suffice to say, the fun begins. The book moves really fast, and it's easy to get caught up in the action. But once I put it down, I promptly forgot what I had just read. The characters were believable and likeable, just not very memorable. But I give it a solid ...more

Nathan Fox has his reasons for going after a missing girl. Nicole Hutton has her own personal reasons. Can the two work together to find justice for young girls who are being preyed upon?

While this book was predictable (you could see it coming for miles), it still kept me riveted wondering when it was going to turn REALLY ugly. I will still probably pick up the next installed of The Reliance Group...because we all really want to know what happens with Caleb and Valerie.

this book needed more of something. sorry, can't put my finger on it - but it had the ingredients for a good book (hunky hero, smart feisty heroine, mystery) but it just didn't gel.

would i recommend? sure. if you got it cheap, and were in the mood for some good sex scenes w/ a half decent suspense element.
3 1/2 stars. Enjoyable read, not as good as her Wild series (a few holes), but a good read. The bad guy was a pedophile who used young girls and then sold them into prostitution to the Russian mafia. I felt the book was a little light for such a dark topic. Great chemistry and passion between H&h though.

The plot for the story line was a bit much but believable. The showdown with the heroine and the villain was a bit anti-climatic. However, I thought it was well written and there was depth to the main characters. The characters were more believable due to their flaws. Nice job.
Good start to new series. Looking forward to the next one.

It’s hard for me to imagine that I’ve been writing romances for over twenty years now! I started at the young age of 21, just after I got married. Reading romances, and then writing them, came about as a result of having too much time on my hands. When I first married my husband Don, I was working a regular nine to five job and he worked swing shift, from four in the afternoon until midnight. It w ...more
