Anyhow, we are ARANZI ARONZO.
Our catch phrase is "cute, strange, cool, silly, a little bit horrible, stupid and comfortable ARANZI ARONZO".
We appreciate your remembering just ARANZI ARONZO at least if you can.
ARANZI ARONZO, Mrs. Saito & Ms. Yomura, began their business to produce and sell what they want to create originally by home manufacture.
And now we continue it.
But what we want to produce expands.
We made it. Stores, books, exhibitions, advertisement, and so on.
We are advancing steadily.
What's going on? We can't tell.

This book proves that the best graphic novels aren't in the graphic novel section. I found this baby in the crafting area of Barnes and Noble. There is a complimentary book available full of patterns for projects and stuffed characters that appear in this book.
The work is Japanese in origin. It consists of vector drawing comic strips and photographs of stuffed dolls and the occasional doggie. The plots are crazy and disjointed like a Bjork song or a haiku, often conveying nothing more than fleeting emotions or nothing at all.
Although not my cup of tea, I'm sure this would sell very well at Hot Topic or Claire's because it's mixture of DIY cute is perfectly balanced with a creepy morbidity. It reminds me of the Happy Tree Friends, only Aranzi isn't trying hard to acheive this blend of Shok Cute, making the product more genuine and palatable.

I found Aranzi Machine Gun :Vol. 1 for around $2 at my favorite used bookstore and decided it was a very cute, very short, book to have on hand to read on a whim. Tonight was that night, and I am so glad I made the time for this book! It's a small compilation of diy plush crafts, cute and genuinely funny comics filled with very gentle & innocent humor. Maybe read this on a quick trip or a picnic! ^ o ^

I get lumpy
But that's OK

I first picked this up in Japan several years ago without knowing what it was...it's so cute, it really doesn't need translation. (but it's so cool to read it in English finally!)
