A short life stories in review of great inventors such as John Gutenberg, Samuel Morse, Alexander Bell, Wright Brothers, Alfred Nobel and Benjamin Franklin. It's amazing to know of how some without education all together have achieved great successes. It's an amazing book of human spirit, hardship and perseverance achieved.
I listened to this book on audible several times while road tripping. It was a hit with all passengers over the age of 7. The readers are good, and the details of the lives and the process of invention are sufficiently detailed and rooted in emotional and relational experience to be resonant to the non-inventor. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Very enjoyable easy read about some amazingly hardworking and brilliant people. Inspiring and interesting. I especially enjoyed the section on Archimedes, who I previously knew nothing about.
