A good basic guide to the regions that I visited in Panama, but since the publication date is 2011, a bit out of date. I was able to cross-reference with Trip Advisor when I had wifi, especially for restaurant information. I would recommend the just published 2016 guide, which I have not read, for this reason. Eco travelers are able to get good recommendations for lodges and tours in this guide.
