Another college book. This book was okay.
Organized into pro/con essays about various social subjects, it's interesting to read the different views on the more common social issues facing America today.
Overall, I found the essays either didn't deal with the issues they claimed, or I simply didn't like the manner they did deal with them. (I understood what each author was saying, but I didn't always agree with their views on the issue they were trying to present)
It would be like trying to talk about tax problems with someone; they want to discuss income tax while you want to talk about capital gains taxes. You're both talking about taxes, but you're not on the same level.
So, if you're going to read this book, leave any pre-concieved notions about these issues at the door. Most of the issues delt with are not going to be the issue you may think it is, but some of them are very cut and dry. (gay marriage) Even so, it's not a book I would ever read again.

This is an excellent book which discusses both sides of social issues and lets you decide where you stand.
