I did like Daddy by Christmas quite a bit, but there were a couple of things that bothered me a little, which is why the rating went down. Like the characters talking about things as if it were the first time when they had already talked about them. What can I say, I'm picky.

Overall it is a nice read. The misscomunication problem between characters that these kind of books usually have wasn't prolonged here, something for which I'm glad. It's often overused and it get's old fast

Large print book.
Boy meets girl; misunderstandings take place; they avoid each other.
Problems arise for girl; boy comes to the rescue. She (Mia) is a surrogate
mother for her brother & sister-in-law. They die in an accident so Mia
intends to keep & raise the child alone as a single mother. Mia's father
shows up after a ten year absence & wants the child--enter boy (Jarrett).
