We bought this book when we bought our shiba inu puppy. It is very informative and I highly recommend to read this one before you get your shiba inu!

One weird note — author advises using garlic in meals as a homeopathic/natural insect-repelling (can’t remember if it was fleas or ticks, etc, specifically). Please don’t! Garlic in all forms is toxic for dogs. 🥴

Die Bilder im Buch sind schön und um sich einen allgemeinen Überblick über die Rasse zu verschaffen, ist das Buch auch gut geeignet. Aber irgendwie... es steht nichts drin, was man nicht auch im www findet.
Aber wer lieber ein Buch in der Hand hält - und noch so gar nichts über die Rasse weiß - ist mit dem Ratgeber gut bedient.
