This book is so outdated. I was 50% done before I had to stop. I stopped right when it said IEEE was DEVELOPING 802.11N, which was released SIX years ago. You would think that they would update this book at least once in SIX years to stop selling it because if it's outdated and, as of now, WRONG information. Unless you are looking for a history lesson, DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK WHATEVER YOU DO.

This book was an assigned school book. You know what? It answered questions better than Wikipedia did a couple of times for me, and that gave it one extra star beyond my average three star review. It has turned into a really good reference book to have around.
