I found a few places in this book that I’d never heard of before, which was the best part. It definitely gave me some new ideas for day trips to take around New Jersey.

However, I really wish the author had given more details about some of the locations. A lot of them only got two sentence descriptions before moving on to the next place. It felt like he was trying to squeeze in as many places as possible instead of giving readers enough information to really get them excited about visiting them.

A good "get-going-in-a-general-direction" resource.

Sometimes leads to not so off-the-beaten-path destinations... but once you begin snoopin', you just might be surprised at all the little finds of your own along the way :).
