Not by Fire but by Ice: Discover What Killed the Dinosaurs...and Why It Could Soon Kill Us

Rate this book
"The next ice age could begin any day! Next week, next month, next year, it's not a question of if, only when. One day you'll wake up--or won't wake up, rather -- buried beneath nine stories of snow as the climate of Greenland descends on Canada, Britain, Norway and most of the north..practically overnight. It's all part of a dependable, predictable, natural cycle that returns like clockwork every 11,500 years.?

My dad insisted I read it. The logic was a bit confusing most of the time.

I love this book, Robert Felix, wrote the best researched book on the possible coming Ice Age. He writes with passion for the subject at hand and leaves no doubt to the quality and persistence of material he uses as references. In simple words Robert makes so much sense about the coming Ice Age, without the scare tactics or without trying to sell you anything.
I will always read anything he writes knowing I am not just reading someones doomsday scare manual.
I highly recommend everyone who wants to know the truth about Global Cooling and why its not Global warming this book cannot be beat.

We see the world weather changing daily by floods, tornados, volcanic activity. The scientific book by Robert W. Felix will explain these events that anyone will be able to understand. I searched for a copy to read again for a passed year or two. Felix explains the extinction on the Earths past due to our natural cycle being triggered by geo-magnetic reversals. A clockwork cycle that happens every 23,000 years. We are finding great animals in the tundra of beasts with food in their stomachs. How? A must read to understand why, and where we live in this cycle of events.

RIP 'bob'.

Your works were insightful, factful and enlightening.
If anyone ever wants to break free of the moronic climate narratives and begin the journey of what is really going on, here is a good place to start.

I don't know quite what to say about Not by Fire but by Ice. Felix argues that we are in a cooling trend, heading toward another ice age. I'm not quite sure what to make of it because I'm not a scientist. It was interesting; it appears to be fairly comprehensive; it's also impossible for me to tell whether the conclusions he reaches from what appear to be pretty well-settled facts are accurate. I did not enjoy his IN YOUR FACE, style of writing, whereby he uses more caps than a newspaper headline. I could do without the italics and the bolding and the exclamation points!!!!!! The style took away from what may be some pretty compelling ideas.
