Great detailed informed explanations. I would recommend this book to anyone thinking about buying a house.
This book was very clear and understandable to someone not knowledgeable about home inspections and specifics.
It's Table of Contents was set up so a reader could easily go to a specific section conveniently.

This book is just what I wanted: a long conversation with an experienced home inspector, someone who can tell you how it used to be and how it should be.
Each chapter has a set of checklists at the end, which I find helpful.
My one complaint is that the pictures are not in color.
