Rate this book
Used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to train interrogators, this manual details the insidious methods by which the "mounties" elicit confessions after all fair and legal tactics have been exhausted. Good book on a rarely addressed topic. Most people do not understand the 'interview/interrogation' line that you have to set in place if you want to be able to get information; once that line is crossed it can lead to defensive behavior on the part of the interviewee - the line is hard to cross back over. This is a good book for law enforcement or anyone interested in criminal justice.

The important thing is just to say nothing, so this book is a bit obsolete of course. It has some nice communication and negotiation techniques. It's always good to know how the cops are trying to fuck you over.
