PLOT: There's a celebration going on in honor of the day Vampires came out the coffin. The celebration has extended to the streets and includes public displays of sex and the burning of houses. Merlots is pretty empty when Sookie arrives. An associate of Eric comes to Merlots to call in a favor from Eric. Fangtasia is shorthanded and after he offers her triple the pay Sookie accepts. Though not too happily and refusing to wear anything leather. A hooded figure has a message for Eric

This is my first comic book series....obviously I am very invested in these because I lurrrrrve True Blood more than anything. Good little side story. I like how both the graphic novels and the comics supplement the TV show, but I like the comics more because I find the art work more appealing. I bought 1-8 at a comic book store here in Cupertino (I'm missing #6 if anyone can tell me where to get it.....)

But yeah. I like these! The first four are focused on "Where where you?"--aka w

Comics #1-6 Review:

The story arc is interesting, as is the short background stories each character tells. My only problem is the length, or rather the lack thereof. Regardless, my obsession with True Blood is high enough that I paid the RSP for each comic and will be pulling the collection out whenever I need a fix.

I read all six in less time than it took my kids to have a bath. I am glad I did not pay $10 each for them. The story was dull, but you have to say the artwork was imaginative. I won't be buying any more graphic novels.

I was expecting more. Just a dissapointment. Stupid story also when the drawing is great. A waste of money.

So far it's good; the story clearly takes place after the events of the first 2 seasons. But if it's a tie in to the upcoming season or not, well that's yet to be seen.

Good if you liked the tv series; otherwise a bit confusing, I suppose...

will read the next parts as I come across them.
