The Testosterone Advantage Plan: Lose Weight, Gain Muscle, Boost Energy

Rate this book
Eat like a man to look like a man.

For years now, the so-called experts have told you to avoid the foods you love. That you're supposed to ditch the weight room and jog your way to maximum fitness. And that testosterone—the hormone that makes you a man—is actually a problem for you, rather than the solution to your problems. In the meantime, American men have kept getting fatter and more frustrated. Which is why we've looked into all this, and from what we've learned, we can tell you—the know-it-alls are know-nothings.

The Testosterone Advantage Plan is about realizing your full potential as a man, and will:

-show you how nature intended you to eat.

-explain how the male body differs in its nutritional needs from the female body—especially when it comes to the proteins, carbohydrates, and fats that are not bad for you.

-give you a superior workout regimen to help you attain the muscular physique you've always wanted.

-explain how you can boost your testosterone and energy levels naturally, without supplements or quick-fix fads.

-help you tick off the long list of benefits you'll likely reap in terms of energy and enthusiasm, power and potency, confidence and charisma.

This much you know: What you've done in the past hasn't worked. Why not try it our way? You have everything to —and nothing to lose except your gut.

This is basic primer geared toward men on how to go about working out and losing weight with the not so hidden subtext being that the reader will gain massive, rock-hard, slut satisfying erections in the process.

All the information is presented in self conscious guy-speak. It's not so bad. It's actually kind of entertaining. As a beginner I actually appreciated the numbskull approach. This covers clear goals, food plans and sets the reader up to continue beyond to more advanced programs. I thought the info was laid out in a way as to not be overwhelming. Points to the authors for that!

My biggest gripe is that they try and say that cardio isn't necessary, which I think is just what fat, lazy dudes who can't get erections due to poor health would like to hear, but which is obviously not the truth. There are are a few other bits of misinformation presented here. So, let this be an ok place to start, but don't let it be the only book you ever read on losing fat and getting healthy.

Изключително полезна и подробно написана книга за мъжете и фитнеса. Всяка тема е засегната и е доста подробна.

Two starts because I dont see a lot of new stuff here. This book claims (and maybe rightly so) that we should eat according to our body type. Light framed people need nutrients in different proportion to large or medium framed people because we all have different testosterone needs and eating certain ways incread or decrease those levels. It trys to explain why and how that is so, then it has diets that are in line with that thinking and and exercise program. For me it was just another diet and exercise book except for the adjusting of your diet based on your body size.

At least half of this book is in some form of every other exercise book Ive even read. I think anyone who has read half a dozen exercise books could write one, put 80% rehashed exercise info in and 20% something else.

Eat healthy heres how I say to do it, exercies at these time intervals and hers how to do squats and the bench press, presto youve got an exercie book.

On the other hand this might be the greatest book in the world for you if youve never read a similar book before and this is your first.

This book is a bit old now but is still a great recourse and i learned a lot from it. I would recommend it because though there are better training books out there now like built for show this book still has a lot of info that others do not.
