Since they may be a career aspiration at some point, I grabbed it when I was looking in a similar section of the dewey decimals.

I picked it up, read the first two chapters, decided it'd be too old, and noped out of it. Then, 5 days later, I picked it back up and read most of it. A lot of it is no longer particularly relevant - the author makes a point of not trusting computers too much, trading by phone, etc - as it is over 20 years old.

Actually, in some ways that was kind of fun. You can tell it was written before the dotcom bubble popped, let alone the great recession, the longest bull market in history, and the pandemic. (Ah, and to imagine the look at anyone's face at the time if they could read that last sentence. This century has been wild so far)

Second read of this trading book. Good stuff, how ever it is unlike most trading books, as the advice is not that easy to follow for the average investor or trader. In other words, not for the novice.
