I had so many questions about my own political philosophy, it having been challenged by trollish flamethrowers, that I felt the need to delve deeper into the general subject of political philosophy. This slim, erudite volume was a grand method to do so. I checked it out of my library, but it seems that it was intended as a text. Anyway, it allowed my deep dive into what philosophers consider methods of society since before the inception of the American revolution to the current question of globalization. If you want to know more about any of the basis for our country's founding to the current day, I'll recommend this book
